Sitting on a Sofa is a digital destination where sellers can recycle their pre-loved luxury goods. At Sitting on a Sofa we let consignors sell their designer goods online and receive 65 percent of the sale price with the option of donating a portion of sales to our selected charity “Pink Ribbon International” (a non profit organization dedicated to support breast cancer patients and promote awareness for breast cancer).

We carefully select items offered by our consignors: we pay particular attention to the quality and authentication of every article. The company is based in Switzerland, in the vicinity of Lake Geneva. With a flagship in London where it has secured treasured pieces from high-brow fashion editors.

Launched by three friends – all from different backgrounds of marketing, finance and publishing – who decided to join forces and share their passion and expertise, to create something they felt was missing within the online marketplace.

Sitting on a sofa also cooperates with brands seeking to track down the source of counterfeit items, which includes revealing the contact information of consignors submitting counterfeit goods. If we suspect that a submitted article is inauthentic we will contact the consignor for proof of purchase.

Counterfeit items discovered will be destroyed and not returned to the consignor, as law prohibits these items to be mailed
